5th Show & Ghosts!

 5th Show & Ghosts!

On the second-to-last day of our trip to Edinburgh, Scotland, we woke up at around 8:45 a.m. to get ready for our fourth show.  After a small breakfast, we left at 10:30 a.m. in order to do some promotion.  Eitan dressed up as the Demogorgon,  Juliet and Alyssa convinced passersby to open Pandora's Box, revealing custom pins, and the rest of us handed out flyers and held up posters.

Our goal for this show was to have an extreme amount of energy when performing, and Abe had a great idea to accomplish this.  He created a competition and said that whoever had the most energy would win a special mystery prize.  This motivated us to perform, unarguably, our best show yet.  We are going to continue this competition tomorrow, where the true winner will be revealed.

Once we were out of costume, we had some free time to get lunch and relax before seeing a show at 3:55 p.m., which was called Ghost Light.  It was an amazing show with incredible set changes and even better acting.  The story was gripping and humorous, with all of the theatre jokes sprinkled in. Afterwards, we grabbed some dinner and got ready for our ghost tour, which started at around 7:00 p.m. Our tour-guide was very amusing and entertaining.  He led us into the Underground City, and later Greyfriar's Kirkyard.

At these places, he told stories of the people who used to live in these areas, and we learned about the loyal dog Greyfriar's Bobby.  After the tour, we took a group photo of us next to his statue before returning to the Airbnb, where we held our daily photo contest.  The theme for today was "graffiti", and Abe ended up taking the win for his photo of graffiti hearts.  Tomorrow is our final show and final day of being here in Edinburgh.  Though I am sad that this trip is ending, I am grateful for being offered this life-changing opportunity.
